The Family's tribute is very fitting for my Uncle Kenneth. He really was a true Gentleman in every way. I will also remember him for his smile and at times mischievous sense of humour , his patience, his immaculate dress sense and great interest in the world. I know he would unfailingly read the Daily Telegraph from cover to cover. But he was also a real romantic - watching repeats of films such as Notting Hill and Love Actually to name but two.
My Mum , Dorothy, was always grateful for his devotion and love for her sister Joan, especially during her long illness. I was grateful for his frequent visits to Southport and time spent chatting to my late father and then assisting my mum after he passed away.
He will be missed, I am sure, by all who know him. My thoughts are especially with Helen , Jeremy, Michael, Sarah and James at this sad time. May he rest in peace.
